Meeting Times

The unit meets every Monday night from 1900 (7:00 pm) to 2130 (9:30 pm). 

SQ31 does not meet from Christmas to New Years, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th (if on a Monday).

Driving to Squadron 31

2. At the end of Linden Avenue, there is a hangar and café to the left.
3. For new visitors uncomfortable with driving on the airport, we request that you park next    the café.
          a. Walk though the gate on the café's patio.
          b. Turn to the left.
          c. The squadron is at the very end of the walkway.
4. If you wish to drive on the airport:
          a. Drive through the south gate left of the hangar.
          b. Drive around the hangar to the right.
          c. Park along the side of the hangar.
          d. The squadron's entrance is on the northwest corner.

Notice to drivers: Rialto is an active airport and all aircraft have the right-of-way.  Drive slowly around corners.  Other cars or aircraft may be traveling the opposite direction.

Flying to Squadron 31

Rialto Municipal (L67) is located 11 nm northeast of Ontario International (KONT) and is 14.2 nm off the 12 degree radial of Paradise VOR (PDZ).

Approaching Rialto for Runway 24:  Local traffic follows Sierra Avenue south from I-15 and enters on a right 45 over the dump.  Traffic will occasionally cross midfield from the south for right traffic.

Note to pilots: Santa Anna winds coming out of the Cajon Pass are strongest over L67 and can be much stronger than reported at Ontario (KONT), Riverside (KRAL), or San Bernardino (KSBD).  Hangars can swirl winds and amplify gusts over runway 35.  Use extreme caution landing in these conditions.  Also, be vigilant for vehicular traffic crossing at the threshold of 35.

Transient parking is in front of the squadron and café.  Squadron 31 is on the corner of the hangar to the right of the pilot's lounge and flower shop.  Be cautious of vehicles during meetings.  Click photo for a larger image ( not for navigation ).
